What this site collects
This website is run by Rooster Homes (DRE #02051216). When you fill out a form on this site, we collect the information you enter: your first name, last name, email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, a message, and the answers to any extra questions that form asks, such as the property you would like to see.
If you give a phone number and check the box agreeing to receive text messages, we record that you agreed, the exact wording you were shown, and the date and time. We also note which page or campaign brought you to the site, such as a link from an email or an advertisement. That describes the link, not you.
Like most websites, the servers that deliver this site keep standard technical logs, such as the pages requested and the time of the request. We do not ask for or collect payment information, Social Security numbers, or government ID numbers through this site.
Who receives it
When you submit a form, your information is sent to Lofty, the customer relationship system Rooster Homes uses to manage client follow-up. Lofty stores it on our behalf as a service provider.
If you use the chat assistant on this site, your messages are sent to Anthropic, the company that provides the Claude AI model that writes the replies. Anthropic processes them on our behalf as a service provider. Please do not share sensitive personal or financial details in the chat. For anything about your own situation, call or email us instead.
This site is hosted by Vercel, which delivers the pages and processes the technical logs described above as our service provider.
The maps on this site are provided by Google Maps. When a page with a map loads, your browser connects to Google to display it, and Google's own privacy policy applies to that connection.
If you visit this site, Meta and Google also receive information about your visit through the advertising and analytics tools described below. Lofty and our hosting provider handle your information on behalf of Rooster Homes. We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising and analytics
This site uses two tools that help us understand visits and show our advertising to people who have been here before, often called retargeting.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It tells Meta that a browser visited this site, which pages it viewed, and when a form was submitted, so our ads on Facebook and Instagram can reach past visitors and measure which ads led to an inquiry.
- Google tag (Google Analytics). It counts visits, shows which pages are read and where visitors came from, and records when a form was submitted.
These tools use cookies and similar technology in your browser. They receive information about your visit, such as pages viewed, the browser and device, and the approximate location that comes with an internet connection. We never send your name, email address, phone number, or anything you type into a form to Meta or Google. An event only says that an inquiry happened, never who made it.
You can limit this at any time. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. You can manage ads you see through your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences and through Google's My Ad Center, and you can use Google's browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
How it is used
We use your information to answer your request, schedule showings, and follow up with you about buying or selling a home. We may also send you marketing email, such as market updates, new listings, and articles from our blog. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time.
We keep your contact details in our system so we can continue to serve you, and we remove them when you ask us to.
Calls and text messages
We only text a phone number when its owner has agreed to receive text messages from Rooster Homes. If you give a phone number without checking the text-message box, we do not send it to our system for texting.
Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any email, and stop text messages by replying STOP.
